Welcome Session and O∆K 101

Thursday, June 2, 5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.

2022 starts a new conference experience for everyone, first-timers to OΔK veterans. Everyone should attend the welcome session to learn the ropes from the EventMobi conference app to the closing banquet.

Student Vice Chair Web Forum and Election

Friday, June 3, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Candidates for the position of Student Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees will be elected in a nationwide election.  The candidates will be available to answer questions from members of the audience and circles via live streaming. The current Student Vice Chair Melissa Cancio and Vice Chair-Elect Mary Stuart will preside and also engage members in a  general discussion about the OΔK experience.

Voting for the Student Vice Chair will take place on Saturday, June 4.  Candidates for Vice-Chair will be posted by May 1.

Friday Night in LexKy

Friday, June 5, 6:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight

Explore the exciting city of Lexington with your ODK friends, new and old! Hop on the free conference shuttle and take a ride to one or both of the hottest entertainment venues in the city or chart your own course.

There are other places to visit in Lexington as well. You can drive or rideshare to just about anywhere in Lexington. The Lexington Legends are home against the Charleston Dirty Birds. Dine and shop at The Summit at Fritz Farm, or just wander the downtown to find unique dining.

The Summit at Fritz Farm is a finely curated, mixed-use destination celebrating the rich heritage of Lexington. New stores continue to open. The Summit at Fritz Farm boasts nearly 70 street-level shops, with 25 dining options including chef-inspired, local, and regional flavors.

Conference Shuttle Loop

Shuttles will run from the Gatton Student Center to the Distillery District and downtown in a continuous loop. The first shuttle will leave Gatton at 6:00 p.m.  The last shuttle will leave the Distillery District at 11:30 p.m.

Explore the exciting city of Lexington with your OΔK friends, new and old! The shuttle will run from 6:00 until 12:00 midnight between the Gatton Student Center and the two destination stops at LexLive (theatres, bowling, arcade) and the Lexington Distillery District (Ice cream, arcade, restaurants, live outdoor music, galleries, shopping). Or hop off at the Distillery District stop and walk to The Burl nearby. More information is forthcoming about group reservations and deals for conference participants.

 

Circle Showcase

Saturday, June 4, 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

We bring the poster board, you bring the accomplishments. The Circle Showcase Circle Showcase is an exhibition to highlight individual circles’ programs, events, and projects. Proud of your circle? Tell us about it!

National Leadership & Service Awards

Saturday, June 4, 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

The finale of the conference is the National Leadership Awards Program. This is the first time we have presented these awards in person since 2018! Join the Society as we honor the leaders among leaders. We will present the National Leader of the Year Awards; the National Service Awards; and, recognize volunteers who have given so much to Omicron Delta Kappa.
